November to Remember

In Big 12 land, November has long been the month circled on the calendar as the one that will decide who will be crowned Big 12 Football Champions in 2015.
Four top 15 teams all square off with one another in a 4 week marathon to be remembered. The first week happened this past weekend and one team among all the rest looked to make a big statement for the remaining month of November.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys were completely dominate in their 49-29 drubbing of the TCU Horned Frogs.

This was a matchup of two undefeated teams looking to prove that their undefeated records were not a product of the weak first part of the schedule.

OSU jumped out of the gate with two long touchdown passes and never looked back from there. The Cowboys attacked TCU's secondary all afternoon and were extremely successful in doing so. Mason Rudolph threw for 5 Touchdowns and all were deep throws down the field.

Maybe the most impressive part of that game was the performance of the OSU defense. They were very disruptive all afternoon and force Heisman candidate Treyvon Boykin to throw 4 interceptions.
Now with their two biggest games remaining to take place in Stillwater. OSU looks like they are in the driver seat to win the Big 12 and earn a spot in the 2nd ever college football playoff.

Baylor and Oklahoma both took care of business before there matchup down in Waco next weekend.

The 6th ranked Baylor Bears went to Manhattan and beat the always tough Kansas State Wildcats 31-24 in a far from impressive victory but, a victory none the less.

15th ranked Oklahoma Sooner welcome a below average Iowa State Cyclone team to Norman and did exactly what they needed to do before heading into the potential game of the year matchup with Baylor. They dismantled ISU in a 52-16 rout and now will have three huge games coming up.

BIG 12 Remaining Key Games:

11/14 - #12 Oklahoma @ #6 Baylor

11/21 - #6 Baylor @ #7 Oklahoma State
            #13 TCU @ #11 Oklahoma

11/27 - #6 Baylor @ #13 TCU

11/28 - #11 Oklahoma @ #7 Oklahoma State

Possibly the biggest stretch of games the Big 12 has ever seen.
